Deals of the past two days

Finding great deals may possibly be my favorite thing in the entire world. I live for Black Friday and whatever you would call the day after Christmas. Isn't that called Boxing Day? That's what I always called it, but no one here at college seems to know what that means. The point is, I don't like paying full price for anything and have no problem searching (or fighting) for great deals. It only adds to the satisfaction of saving money. Ok, let's clarify. I don't actually fight people on Black Friday. I'm more of the helpful stranger weaving in and out of people.

While today is nowhere near Black Friday, I have still found some great deals lately. Yesterday, my roommate and I went to this great little upscale thrift store down the street from our college. Between Friends is adorable, and not only do they have great clothes, they have PROM DRESSES. We can never resist trying on a few.... but Roommate needs them! Anyway, I found the cutest, most comfortable pair of flats for only $8! They're black and white polka dots! I wore them to work today and they are officially my favorite shoes. Maybe someday I will take good enough pictures to post.

Anyway, I've wanted to start a blog for a long time. Crafting, finding great deals (especially with coupons), and cooking are some of my favorite things. A blog seems like a great way to share cool results, successes, and even fails with people. When you're creative and like to share, blogging makes sense. So bear with me!
